Junior Field Engineer
We are seeking a Junior Field Engineer to join our team and provide engineering services for our company. The Junior Field Engineer will be responsible for performing a variety of engineering tasks. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving and bilingual communication skills and be able to work efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze existing equipment, ensure it is suitable for the project's needs, and ensure on-time inspection and servicing for existing equipment.
• Inspect equipment regularly to ensure that any preventative maintenance is carried out.
• Make recommendations for new instruments and equipment to be installed to increase productivity.
• Conduct project research and report back with project timelines, goals, and success likelihood.
• Ensure projects run smoothly.
• Provide training on engineering methods and follow engineering
instructions.
• Provide regular reports to executives.
• Work in line with health and safety guidelines.
• Provide direction, training, and mentoring to other engineers and operatives at the field site.
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, etc.
• Project management and supervision skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• College Degree in an Engineering Discipline, Metallurgical, Mining, or Fluid
Mechanics preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Good Conversational English
